Displays:

www.azdisplays.com
AZ Displays is where I ordered my blue/yellow display from. They have easy online ordering, and a large selection of available displays. The prices are good, and delivery is prompt. Overall, a great supplier.

www.hantronix.com
The original large display I ordered is a Hantronix Display I ordered through Gerber Electronics (the local distributor). Hantronix makes nice displays and has a website with data sheets for hundreds of displays. However, you must order through one of their distributors, and finding one which will send a single display isn't as easy as it could be.

www.matrixorbital.com
Matrix Orbital makes displays that are reportedly very nice. They have a simple serial connection, so no soldering is required. Also, their displays support a keypad interface. Of course, all of this comes at quite a price. They also sell Vacuum Florescent Displays.

www.crystalfontz.com
From the website, these displays look nice. One interesting feature of these displays: they are gap-less. That means there is no one pixel gap between characters, so bar graphs and graphics are smooth. Displays come with a serial connection; just plug in a cable and enjoy. A very limited selection and decent prices.

Other Parts:

www.pricewatch.com
Don't order any computer hardware until you check this site for prices. Pricewatch lists the prices for thousands of computer products in a quick and simple format. How good are the prices you'll find? Usually about one half to one thrid of CompUSA's price for memory, and about 25% cheaper for everything else.

www.partsexpress.com
Tons of assorted electronic parts, awesome deals on Cambridge SoundWorks speakers, etc etc. A great retailer. Good prices, good selection, prompt delivery. This where I ordered the RF Modulator, among other things.

www.mpja.com
Specializes in eletronics parts. This is where I bought the Astec power supply. Very good selection, excellent prices. My orders have all been promptly delivered, but others have mentioned long delays.

MP3 Car lInks:

www.mp3car.com
A great source or information regarding mp3s and playing them in your car. Links to software, commercial hardware, and homebrew machines are contained within. MP3car.com also offers bumper stickers, subdomains, and site hosting.

cajun.sourceforge.net
Cajun is software for MP3car setups. Cajun does all sorts of useful things like display stuff on your LCD and um.....other good things. I'm not very familiar with the software, but I know that it is great. It is open-source and runs on Linux.

integrated.mp3car.com
An mp3car site that has great info on adding an EL backlight to LCDs, as well as useful links to suppliers of said products.

This is my website. I need money, you need a website - a match made in heaven. Professional sites done right. Static, dynamic, a combination of the two - all of it can be done. College is expensive you know.

www.alladvantage.com
Again, I need money. I'm sure you do, too. AllAdvantage pays you for time you spend online, as well as the time all of your referrals (and their referrals) spend online. AllAdvantage is the original company that does this, and is the only one with a Mac version of their software. Too good to be true? They are perfectly legitimate. If you wish, I will scan my latest check and send it to you.
